Karl Silander has owned the landmark Bayou Kitchen for 17 years, and previously worked extensively in fine dining catering and restaurants since 1990. He has knowledge of locally found foraged mushrooms and can give advice about what to do with them but unfortunately, they don’t show themselves until the fall.
