Secha grew up along the Kennebec River surrounded by Mother Nature in the wilds of Maine. After studying culinary arts through the Le Cordon Bleu program and working at various restaurants in New England, Secha returned to Maine and settled on the Midcoast. While spending two decades as a chef in Freeport, Secha discovered more than a love of food, but a curiosity for how food functions in the body. Working with local farmers and foragers opened her eyes up to a world of natural medicines right in her own backyard. Today Secha owns and operates Deer Haven Natural Living, a company that produces small batch CBD products with an emphasis on locally sourced ingredients.
