My work is a direct response and reaction to the environments that I spend my time, which usually looks like submerging myself in nature whenever possible to stay inspired. I’ve coined the term “botanical juice” to describe my embodied plant portraits, because I want these pieces of art to touch on multiple senses. I want people to be able to taste and feel the energetics of the plants that I paint, by portraying them in a way that emphasizes their already sensual nature.
