Cecelia Corey is a Maine native and USAF veteran who served in the US and abroad in Torrejon, Spain, during the 80s. Upon returning home and starting her family, she attended college, worked in the University of Maine system as a control room operator for the university's broadcast television network, UNET.

Cecelia has had a lifetime of trauma beginning in childhood and continuing in the military. By the pandemic her physical and mental health was deuterating rapidly and she was ready to give up completely on life. Then when thinking things could not get worse, Cecelia faced an unimaginable tragedy.  After hospitalization for her physical and mental issues, she realized the help she needed would not be found through the VA and she began to research and connect to a plethora of plant medicines.

Cecelia has slowly begun to rebuild her life and is now passionate about helping others by telling her story, educating others, and advocating for legislation reform so that everyone, especially veterans, may access these beautiful tools for healing. Cecelia currently lives in central Maine with her husband and child.
