Chasing Dragonflies ME

My name is Hannah and I have a nature photography based art business. Much of my work begins with one of my original photographs. I have a variety of favorite subjects including: tree bark, animals, plants, and of course tons of mushrooms! I size and print the photos based on the intended product and everything is then made by hand. I create epoxy resin domed photo jewelry, tile coasters, and magnets. I also frame select prints and make blank greeting cards.

Perhaps my greatest interest to share at the Fungi Fest would be my mushroom spore print necklaces. I love making prints but hate to throw them away - they’re too beautiful! So, I spent over 8 months in 2022 creating a method of preserving spore prints to then be encapsulated under resin in a necklace pendant. Each necklace is one of a kind and all mushrooms (used for the prints) are from western Maine.
