MICRODOSING CANNABIS AND PSILOCYBIN FOR CHRONIC PAIN

Caitlin Bernhard and Jodi Chapman

Join us in an exploration of how small, sub-perceptual doses of psilocybin and THC can be used to alleviate chronic pain while minimizing side effects associated with traditional medical treatments. We will discuss the mechanisms by which microdosing influences pain perception, including its effects on neuroplasticity, serotonin receptors, and the endocannabinoid system. Microdosing can also be used to reduce dependence on opioids or other pharmaceuticals as a complementary approach in pain management. Emerging research, anecdotal evidence, and case studies will be used to demonstrate efficacy, safety, and best practices. Attendees will learn the importance of guided use under medical supervision as well as practical considerations like dosing schedules and how to monitor for therapeutic outcomes.
