ISSA JUKIRO

Issa Jukiro has come to psychedelic guide work from a diverse & rich background. A decades-long passion for tea led her to opening the Dobrá Teahouse in Massachusetts. The spirit within tea led her to attend a 5-year program to become a pagan priestess & shamanic practitioner at the Wisdom School and Temple of Sophia in Montague, Massachusetts. Her depth of commitment to wisdom holders from across cultures, species & time led her to the Synthesis Psychedelic Practitioner Training Program which she completed in 2023. Her dedication to harm reduction, ethics & to being trauma informed drives her to pursue a masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus in Mindfulness Based Transpersonal Counseling at Naropa University, which she will complete in 2026. Issa believes in the power of using our whole bodies to inform our lives. Our minds are made king in the west, and Issa believes in making equal all the minds our bodies contain: our physiological bodies, our hearts, our intuitions, our brains, our spirits, and more. She has learned that this is a decolonizing way of relating to ourselves, each other, and the world, and that by moving into more healing & balance within ourselves, we will be able to bring more healing and balance to each other, and this beautiful world.
