Matthew Wood MSc (herbal medicine), has been a practitioner, teacher, and author in the herbal field for 40 years. He believes in the empirical (experience-based) approach to herbalism (including pulse, tongue, facial evaluation) as well as the "wisdom of Nature'' approach, which includes the doctrine of signatures and use of correspondence.  He lives on Sunnyfield Herb Farm in Martel, Wisconsin.
