As a co-founder of Psanctuary Maine, a Sacred Mushroom Church, under legal protection as our religious right, I host ceremony programs, integration circles and events for our growing community. As a U.S. Marine combat veteran, former U.S. Department of State diplomat, serial social entrepreneur, and health coach, I bring two decades of experience with various holistic practices for healing trauma, optimizing health, and developing consciousness for positive impact. I have coached thousands of clients on professional, personal, and spiritual development and facilitated hundreds of ceremonies. I've met the robust vetting standards for Psychedelic Passage and am among a couple of dozen of their professional facilitators in the United States. In the last decade, I have facilitated and trained with shamans descending from lineages of the Shipibo tradition in Peru, Mazatec Shamanism in Mexico, and the Andean Moche culture. A few of the teachers who most influenced my thinking and being are George Gurdjieff, Thích Nhất Hạnh, and Paramahansa Yogananda. Psychedelics catalyzed my healing from complex PTSD, treatment-resistant depression, and severe anxiety as a combat veteran, which fuels my devotion to creating a world where nature medicine access is a universal right.
