I began live painting about 7 years ago, but I’ve always been an artist, traveling the country’s backroads. Creating out of emotion, from the inspiration of people, landscapes and the happenstance’s of life. The wonder, traveling made easy and fostered imagination. Using abstract, expressionism to create forms of familiarity, whether it be a character peering through the veil or a landscape of some far off place. Traveling created a way I could truly find myself. What I found was that our imagination is of the utmost importance to cultivate, nurture and help grow to expand our understanding, gain new perspective and knowledge of self. Being able to connect with people through art has been such a blessing. That’s what art is about, Connection. And we are all connected.
